Open enrollment for the 2027-28 academic school year ends on 2/26/2027 at 5 pm. Applications can be obtained by contacting the school. Should the number of applications received during open enrollment exceed available seats, a random-selection drawing will be necessary. The drawing, if needed, will be held via live stream on the following dates:
• Bennett Venture Academy – 3/1/2027 at 9 am
• Winterfield Venture Academy – 3/1/2027 at 6:00 pm
Applications received after open enrollment will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for remaining open seats. Waiting lists will be formed accordingly.

Sealed proposals marked for “2026 JANITORIAL SERVICES” will be received at the Office of the Director of Public Service in the Oregon Municipal Building, 5330 Seaman Road, Oregon, Ohio 43616, until 2:00 P.M., local time on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read aloud for furnishing the Department of Public Service the following:

The City of Oregon desires proposals for all labor (3 person minimum), material, equipment, and supervision to perform complete janitorial and window cleaning services to be rendered five (5) days per week, Monday thru Friday, after normal office hours, except legal holidays. Service will include all areas of the Court/Administration Building (with the exception of the Boiler Room); Police Division; Water/Tax/Finance area; Parks/Recreation, Streets and Water Distribution Buildings.

A bidder’s bond, certified or cashier’s check on a solvent bank payable to the City of Oregon in the amount of 5% of the total amount of the bid, but in no case less than $300 as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into, is to accompany the bid.

All bids must be made on the proposal form, which, with specifications, etc., may be obtained upon application at the Office of the Director of Public Service.
